Water bodies

Some high speed flash photos ... these photos were taken with the Nikkor 18-200mm lens at 200mm, f/13, manual focus, about 45cm from the centre of a glass of water (distance from the sensor).  The water drop was from a height of about 40cm, and the resistance of the trimpot was adjusted from 10,000 Ohms to about 7300 Ohms.  The photos were cropped, colour adjusted, and slightly sharpened.

  1. Thanks. I'm looking at redesigning the circuit using a sound sensor instead of the light sensor now. I think a sound sensor would make my life a whole lot easier. I think I know how to put it together but will the sound sensor / amplifier be sensitive enough to detect a water splash... I have to wait until Saturday morning to do this. Not enough time during the week unfortunately.
