Problems with Picasa images?

What's with your images in your posts, Chris?  Are they from Picasa?

I used to be able to see them but now they come up as this warning image:

    I messed up - deleted the folder Google/Blogger used to store all the pictures posted to the blog... :-( I will re-publish those when I get back.

What are these bugs? I've never seen them before. I saw them at my parents' place the other day. Lots of them in soil or grassy areas.
